The D.A.V. (PG) College has a glorious heritage of games and sports. Our students not only achieve distinction in academic pursuits but also exhibit rare excellence on the sports field at International, National, State and University level competitions. Under the valued guidance of the Principal, Prof. S.K.Singh and General Secretary, Games & Sports,, special facilities are provided to the boys and girls of this college for holding the sports camps on a regular basis in accordance with All India Universities Sports Calendar as provided by the HNB Garhwal University.
The college has bagged the overall Inter-Collegiate Championship of the HNB Garhwal University in both Men and Women categories for last five consecutive years. A large number of sports persons from the college have brought laurels to the college by making a mark at the state and national level.
